These Terms govern your use of Gold Standard Analysis, a software product sold by Gold Standard Appliance LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing or using Gold Standard Analysis, you agree to these Terms.
What Gold Standard Analysis does
Gold Standard Analysis compares two machine-readable solicitation PDFs and identifies source-backed textual differences. The comparison runs locally in your browser. The product is intended to assist review; it does not determine whether a change is legally material, whether a solicitation interpretation is correct, or whether a bid, quote, proposal, or response is compliant, responsive, or complete.
No legal, procurement, or professional advice
Gold Standard Analysis is an informational software tool, not a law firm, contracting officer, procurement advisor, accountant, or other professional advisor. You remain responsible for reading the source documents, confirming deadlines and requirements, and obtaining professional advice when appropriate.
Paid access
Unless the checkout states otherwise, one purchase provides a time-limited entitlement for the exact prior/revised PDF pair authorized after payment. The current entitlement design allows up to three authorized comparison attempts for that same file pair within 24 hours. A purchase is not a subscription and does not provide unlimited or ongoing access.
Your documents
You are responsible for having the right to use the documents you select. Do not use Gold Standard Analysis to process documents unlawfully. Source PDF bytes and full extracted text are designed to remain in your browser; the entitlement service receives only the technical data described in the Privacy Notice.
Price and taxes
The price shown at checkout is the product subtotal unless the checkout expressly states otherwise. Applicable sales or use tax may be added based on the transaction and customer location. You are responsible for any taxes that are legally imposed on the purchase and not collected at checkout.
Refunds
Our Refund Policy is part of these Terms and is disclosed before purchase. Review it before paying. Nothing in these Terms limits a refund, repair, replacement, cancellation, or other remedy that applicable law requires.
Acceptable use
You may not attempt to bypass payment or entitlement controls, interfere with the service, abuse rate limits, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, use the product to violate law or third-party rights, or resell access unless we agree in writing.
Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue Gold Standard Analysis, including for maintenance, security, legal, or product reasons. We may also change future pricing or features. Changes do not retroactively remove rights that already arose from a completed purchase.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Gold Standard Analysis is provided “as is” and “as available.” Automated extraction and comparison can miss, misread, or imperfectly match text, especially in scanned, image-based, malformed, or unusually formatted PDFs. You must review the cited source pages and any extraction warnings before relying on the output.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Gold Standard Appliance LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from Gold Standard Analysis. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from a paid use of Gold Standard Analysis will not exceed the amount you paid for the transaction giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where applicable law prohibits them.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where another law must apply. Any dispute not otherwise resolved will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Rhode Island, unless applicable law requires a different forum.
Seller identity and contact
