- Confirm every amendment issued before the submission deadline has been accounted for.
- Confirm the exact acknowledgment method the solicitation permits—such as signing/returning an amendment, identifying an amendment in the offer, or another stated method.
- Confirm the Government must receive the acknowledgment by the applicable due date/time and through the permitted submission channel.
- If using SF 1449 or another form, verify the amendment acknowledgment area and any solicitation-specific blocks are completed exactly as instructed.
- If an electronic portal is used, verify whether the portal itself records acknowledgment or whether a separate document/statement is still required.
- Save evidence of the submitted acknowledgment and final submission package.
